About this tool
Voice Generator uses Kokoro, a free, open-source AI voice model that runs entirely inside your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server. If your device supports GPU acceleration (WebGPU), it's used automatically for much faster generation; otherwise it falls back to a CPU mode that works on virtually any device, just slower. Either way, the first generation downloads the voice engine once — after that, it's cached for the rest of your browsing session, so later generations on the same visit are quick.
Please note: this tool currently supports English only (US and UK accents). The underlying open-source engine (Kokoro) does not yet officially support Hindi in the browser version, so we've removed it rather than offer a broken option. We're keeping an eye out for a genuinely working free/open-source way to add Hindi.
